Community Guidelines

FoxCreek Prayer is a place for prayer, Scripture, encouragement, and hope. These guidelines help us keep the community respectful, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Treat People with Respect

Please:

  • Speak kindly and thoughtfully.
  • Show compassion to those who are hurting.
  • Respect people who are going through difficult moments.
  • Avoid judgmental or demeaning language.
  • Remember that prayer requests often come from real struggles.

Behind every prayer request is a real person.

Keep Prayer Requests Appropriate

Prayer requests should be sincere and appropriate for the purpose of this community. The following are not allowed:

  • Harassment or bullying.
  • Threats of any kind.
  • Hateful or abusive language.
  • Sexually explicit material.
  • Graphic violence.
  • Spam or repeated irrelevant posts.
  • Scams or misleading content.
  • Content that is intentionally disruptive.

Emotional, imperfect, or differently-worded requests are welcome. People express their needs in many ways, and this is a space for honesty before God.

Protect Privacy

Please do not post sensitive personal information publicly, including:

  • Home addresses.
  • Phone numbers.
  • Private email addresses.
  • Financial account information.
  • Medical record numbers.
  • Passwords or login credentials.
  • Detailed identifying information about someone else.

If you are praying for another person, share only what is necessary. FoxCreek Prayer is not a confidential medical or counseling system.

Public vs Private Requests

When submitting a prayer request, you can choose whether it is public or private:

  • Public requests may be visible to anyone using FoxCreek Prayer.
  • Private requests are intended for the Prayer Team only.

Choose the option that best fits what you are comfortable sharing. FoxCreek Prayer protects your privacy according to its published Privacy Policy, but no online platform can guarantee absolute confidentiality.

Crisis & Immediate Danger

FoxCreek Prayer is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or may harm themselves or someone else, please contact appropriate emergency or crisis services right away.

In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 for emergencies.

Prayer matters, but some situations also need immediate professional or emergency help.

Reporting Content

If you see a prayer request that appears to violate these guidelines, you can report it. Reports are reviewed by the Prayer Team.

  • Use reporting for genuine safety or guideline concerns.
  • Do not use reporting simply because you disagree with someone's beliefs or wording.
  • Each report is reviewed thoughtfully, but specific moderation outcomes are not guaranteed.

Moderation

To protect users and the ministry, FoxCreek Prayer may hide, archive, remove, or restrict content when necessary. This may happen in cases involving:

  • Safety concerns.
  • Abuse or harassment.
  • Spam or scams.
  • Privacy concerns.
  • Guideline violations.

No Professional Advice

FoxCreek Prayer and the Prayer Team do not replace doctors, therapists, counselors, attorneys, emergency services, or other licensed professionals. Prayer Team members may pray and provide ministry support, but users should seek appropriate professional help when needed.

Scripture & Ministry Content

Bible content, Prayer Resources, the Salvation Journey, Scripture Collections, Daily Verses, and similar materials are provided for spiritual encouragement and ministry purposes. FoxCreek Prayer is a Christian ministry, and this content reflects that identity.
